Welcome to Summit Trail Middle School, in the Tahoma School District!

I am honored to support you and your student during their developmental and academic years of Middle School. I am passionate about this age group and believe it is a critical time for growth, development and success. Middle school is a window of time to try new things, make mistakes and create healthy student habits.

I started my career as a school counselor in 2001, at Narrows View Intermediate School in the University Place School District. I relocated to Tahoma Middle School in 2013 and transitioned to Summit Trail Middle School upon it's new opening in 2017.

I also get to mentor students through the position of WEB Coordinator...

I am a die hard COUGAR (yes I graduated from Washington State University) and a blessed mama of two amazing kids.  I believe relationships must be fostered first, above all else.  Kids won't always remember what we tell them, but they always remember how we made them feel.
